In this 5/8 fill construction lesson you will be building fills from a specific three beat rhythm. This will use sixteenth note groupings you have used many times previously but they may feel odd in the new time signature. That rhythm looks like this:
Familiarize yourself with this rhythm then look through the orchestrations below. I have only given five so use these as ideas to create your own fills using the given ideas.

- Using the 2 minute rule, get all fills up to a tempo of at least 120bpm.
