Two Sixteenth Note Fills In 7/8

The construction method presented on this page should hopefully be quite straight forward. You will be taking some standard 7/8 groove patterns and replacing the very last eighth note with two sixteenth notes. This fill construction idea has been applied in many different time signatures and you can find links to some of these, as well as other useful lessons, at the bottom of the page. The intention here is to give examples of really easy fills and variations that can quickly be incorporated into your playing.

Four examples of this fill construction idea are listed below, as the concept is fairly straight forward this should be enough. Remember to experiment with varying and constructing your own fill ideas using this concept.
