The single stroke roll rudiment is one of the most straight forward which means it is great for experimenting with new concepts. In this particular accent lesson you will learn another Single Stroke Roll Accent placement where you pick out the '1e a' rhythm within straight sixteenth notes. This will give you more accents than standard strokes and the one standard stroke out of each four will fall on the middle stroke of each block, using the right hand. In theory, this is pretty straight forward as you just need to remember to not accent that one particular stroke.
When playing the given parts, pay particular attention to technique, especially stick heights around the switch between accented and standard strokes. If you are finding any of the movements here difficult, have a look at some of the exercises linked at the bottom of the page. There are some less busy single stroke roll acccent patterns that will help you build up to these slightly more complex movements.
As I suggest in most lessons, start learning the part at a much lower tempo and only start building up speed when you can play the given example consistantly over several repitions.
