The idea of groove based fills can be applied into the 'A A A B A A A C' structure we covered in an earlier lesson. We said that 'A' was still a bar of groove, 'B' was a shorter fill and 'C' was a longer fill. For this example 'A' and 'C' remain the same but for 'B' you will use a groove based fills. I have given one example below:
