In this lesson you will continue learning about creating fills using Groupings Of Sixteenth Notes, this time by applying any number of different groupings to a full bar fill in 4/4. The rhythms and orchestrations used will be similar to those in our One Beat Fills and Two Beat Fills using 16th groupings lessons so I advise you read through those first.
On this page you will be presented with fill examples that are a bar of fill whose rhythm is created by combining various different combinations of sixteenth note groupings. This obviously means there are a huge number of diferrent options even when just thinking about the rhythm of the part. I have given a small selection out of the infinite number of different options to give you a feel for the idea. When it all makes a bit of sense spend time some creating your own versions using this construction method.
Each fill example is presented as a straight snare rhythm on the left hand side with an orchestration on this rhythm on the right. Use each rhythm as a starting point to create as many different orchestrations as you can think of.
