This level 4 rudiment workout lesson is built from a flam accent played as sixteenth notes rather then triplets creating syncopation. The part is built up over several steps starting with the straight snare version of the rudiment. This allows you focus on one element of the exercise at a time without things getting too complicated. This is a great all round exercise as several different aspects of your playing will be challenged.
