In this lesson you will be learning some more Accent placements for the standard triplet. In all of the exercises presented on this page you will be accenting both the first and third stroke of each block of triplet. This is a difficult movement as you will be accenting the second stroke of a double left. Remember when accenting to make the note with the '>' symbol above it louder than the rest. You can achieve this by lifting your stick slightly higher than normal and pushing down with it a little more.

Various different combinations of accent have been given below and feet have been included with all exercises. If the feet are throwing you off feel free to remove them until you are comfortable with the hand part. Remember to use the single stroke sticking throughout.
