In this level 3 rudiment workout lesson you will be developing your hand speed and stamina with an orchestrated exercise switching from sixteenth note singles to sextuplet doubles. This is built up over several steps starting with the straight snare version of the rudiment. This allows you focus on one element of the exercise at a time without things getting too complicated, which is helpful with the switch in rhythm and sticking. While you are mostly focusing on the hands, you will actually be developing all areas of playing making it a very useful all round exercise.
