Four On The Floor With Additional Eighth Notes

Adding additional eighth notes to four on the floor grooves.

In this groove idea you will be taking the Four On The Floor concept learned back in level 1 and throwing in some extra eighth notes on the kick. This creates some pretty cool sounding patterns that will also help develop the strength and stamina of your right foot. Before starting this lesson make sure you've covered the lesson linked previously.

In the grooves listed the straight four on the floor groove has been used with additional kicks added on '+' counts. The right hand is written as eight notes on the hi hat in each example, be sure to experiment with different right hand patterns.
