The concept for the grooves in this lesson is fairly simple, play constant eighth note triplets on the feet. In each example a one bar groove has been shown quarter notes on various cymbals. When playing eighth note triplets on the feet the hand that plays on the numbered count switches each time, meaning your left foot will need to be played as confidently as the right. Make sure all notes are placed accurately and your rhythm is accurate.
