In this lesson you will combining the level 1 8th note snare displacement groove construction idea with the standard 16 Beat Groove. All snares will fall with a right hand still but the snares the move will now be played on an '+' count. This idea should be simple in terms of movements so use the given parts as a basis for creating your own patterns based on the concept.

Remember that for this style of groove the snare tends to be notated in voice 1 to clarify the single stroke roll played on the hands. The concept works well in both the common and half time version of the 16 beat pattern, examples of both are included in the examples below.
