Constant Eighth Note Kicks In 9/8 Grooves

For this 9/8 groove lesson maintain constant eighth notes with the right foot on the bass drum. This means you will be getting bass drums and snares playing at the same time so make sure these strokes all fall at exactly the same time. Various right hand and snare placements are used through the examples below, use the given parts as a starting point to create your own version.

As usual, at the bottom of the page you will find a collection of links to other lessons that may be useful when learning these grooves.
