Double Stroke Roll With 'a' Count Accents

In this lesson you will learn some more accent patterns in a double stroke roll. In all exercises you will only be accenting 'a' counts, which all fall on the second left hand of a double stroke movement. This unusual placement is a great co-ordination exercise but it is a good idea to start slow and gradually build up speed while you get familiar with the movement. At the bottom of the page you will find a collection of links to lessons that will be helpful when learning these parts.
