'A A B C' Structure In 4/4 Based On A '332' Multi Layered Groove

In this lesson you will be shown five 'AABC' patterns in 4/4, all of which are based on our '332' Multi Layered Groove. You can find a link to this lesson at the bottom of the page a long with some other useful lessons. I recommend you work through the lesson on the straight groove before trying these patterns as the base groove can get quite complex. The point of these exercises is to give you some ideas for applying this groove concept practically.

There won't really be much new in terms of part construction, this page will be all about applying that complicated groove part in a practical context. Use all given examples as a starting point to create your own versions of the part.
