Tom Grooves With Offbeat 16th High And Mid Toms

In this lesson you will be taking some level 1Tom Based Grooves and adding in some offbeat 16th notes with the left hand on toms in the same way you did in This Lesson. In fact, this lesson will be similar to that last linked but with more toms. It will make the learning process far easier if you have a quick look through the two lessons linked above and go over anything that you don't understand.

In this construction method the right hand will be playing a rhythm on the floor tom whilst the left will play a backbeat either on the snare or another tom. Around that various combinations of offbeat 16th note will be added on various voices. Listed below are several examples of this concept. Remember to start the parts slowly, make sure your note placement is accurate and then start working on increasing speed.
