Adding feet to the flam tap as triplets.
In this lesson you will be applying a swung eighth note rhythm across the two feet underneath the triplet version of the flam tap. To play a swung eighth rhythm you will place notes on the first and last of a triplet, you can find a lesson on this at the bottom of the page.
In the examples below I have used various versions of the rhythm. If you are unsure of the placements, try to latch the foot on to the appropriate hand. Use the given examples as a starting point to create your own parts.
- Using the 2 minute rule, get all exercises up to a tempo of at least 120bpm.
- Create your own orchestrations using this concept.
- Use as many different feet patterns as you can think of with each exercise.
