Standard Single Stroke Four Orchestrated Once On Each Drum

As discussed previously many times, it is important to orchestrate your rudiments to develop your ability to use them around the kit, making it easier for them to be applied to your playing. This is possibly the most straight forward of the single stroke four orchestrations and all you will do is play each occurance of the rudiment on a different drum. As there is an eighth note 'pause' between each instance it is very easy to move this one around the kit in any order.

Below I have listed several variations on this using different versions of the sticking.

TASK

  1. Using the 2 minute rule, get all 6 exercises up to a tempo of at least 135bpm.
  2. Add feet under each orcestration.
